KPC International is a privately held company led by CEO John Devlin and supported by the management team and key strategic advisors which bring a range of skills and experiences for the leadership and governance of the organisation. We have a significant team world wide, with an extensive network of consultants.

Some of the team are outlined below.

John Devlin
John Devlin Founder & CEO
A chemical engineer, John has spent many years providing expert knowledge on Commissioning, Qualification & Validation to biotech companies such as Novartis, Gedeon Richter, Wyeth, Merck Serono & BMS, both nationally and internationally. As an internationally recognized expert in the area of Commissioning and Qualification, John has been published in Pharmaceutical Engineering, May/June edition 2007 – “Integration of Commissioning and Qualification with other Phases of the Project Life Cycle” and is well versed in latest industry guidelines including ASTM E2500.

In 2001 John established KPC International, with a view to providing specialist expert consulting services (Project Management/Plant Start-up) to clients in the Pharma/Biopharma industry. In the last 8 years the organisation has grown in size and across markets to being a significant leader in the provision of technical services to the biotech and pharma industries.

Paul Fitton
Paul Fitton UK Regional Director
Paul has more than 20 years’ experience in Commissioning, Qualification, Validation, and single-use technology equipment manufacture. Paul has extensive experience working client side, in consultancy service delivery, and vendor side. This gives Paul unique insight into strategic planning, single use technology, drug substance and drug manufacture. Paul has acted as C&Q manager and Suite lead on projects as well as leading regulatory agency readiness and remediation programs for numerous clients in areas such as cleaning, sterility assurance and shipping. Paul also holds an executive MBA and has significant international experience.
Clara Amarante
Clara AmaranteSustainability and People Development Officer
Clara is a multilingual professional with over six years’ experience in HR across the hospitality, IT and Biotech sectors. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology by Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and a Masters in Human Resources Management by National College of Ireland, she is also a member of CIPD. Clara joined KPC International in January 2022 and since then she has led and been involved in a number of projects to ensure the whole employee life cycle is an enjoyable process for KPC members. Excelling at building relationships, Clara embraced and grew KPC culture and championed it from the start through Company Vision, Values and Engagement initiatives. She believes that people are the greatest asset of any organization and that an effective HR Department can contribute to the development of an inspired and high performing workforce.
David O Sullivan
David O SullivanChief Product Officer
David joined KPC in 2023 as Chief Product Officer and has over fifteen years’ experience managing strategic partnerships within the Healthcare (Bio/Pharma & Medical Device) industry. Over the course of his career, David has also held roles in Marketing & Communications, Business Development, Alliance Management, Drug Supply Chain Management and Program/Project Management. He has an excellent track record in building and leading high performing cross‐functional New Product Introduction (NPI) teams internationally, within GxP environments.
David’s strengths lie in identifying and nurturing business opportunities, managing complex bids, and generating revenue through strategic investments.

Educationally, David holds an Honours Degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Molecular Neuroscience from University College Cork. Complementing his academic background, he holds Diplomas in Business Administration (London School of Business and Finance) and Supply Chain Management (Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management).

Rebecca Devlin
Rebecca Devlin Operations/Marketing Director (Benelux)
Rebecca joined KPC in June 2022 as Operations Director for the Benelux region and is based out of the company’s Amsterdam office. Rebecca re-joined KPC after spending two years working in trade development and growing Irish Life Science and Digital Health exports in the Benelux region. She also oversees the Marketing activities at KPC.

Rebecca holds a first-class masters degree in Food Business and Innovation from University College Cork, and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute. She is currently completing a postgraduate degree in digital marketing with BPP University.

Malcolm Goggin
Malcolm GogginGlobal Development Director
Malcolm assumed the role of Global Development Director at KPC in September 2023, following his time as Director of European Services Sales at ABEC Inc., He has proven success in the BioPharma, Software, Consumer Durables, and materials sectors, where he has worked leading as Managing Director, Sales & Marketing Director, and Business Development, including reform and reorientation in both the physical & digital spheres.

A serial entrepreneur, Malcolm has founded and exited multiple startups, contributing innovations to the BioPharma sector. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. scholarship, his research focuses on decarbonizing single-use plastics in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, aiming to pioneer sustainability initiatives globally. Holding an MBA from Smurfit Business School, a B.Sc. from TU Dublin, and diverse diplomas, Malcolm serves on the board of ISPE and mentors in the UCD MBA program. A dedicated family man and accomplished athlete, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to both professional and personal spheres.

Sinead Hall
Sinead Hall Internal Quality Manager
Sinead joined KPC in September 2022 as our Internal Quality Manager, responsible for implementing and maintaining our ISO9001 certified quality management system and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. A dedicated member of our Sustainability Committee, Sinead’s quality-focused approach has significantly contributed to the development of the KPC sustainability framework.

Sinead has extensive Quality Management Experience across a broad range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices and healthcare. Sinead is passionate about promoting a culture of quality within the organization and is committed to driving initiatives that enhance overall service quality.

Sinead has a Level 9 Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Business and Technology and a Masters in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Regulation. Her primary degree was in Microbiology from Trinity College Dublin.
